Summer T-Ball & Intro-Ball
This program is a great opportunity for children of all skill levels and experience. The program will emphasize base running, fielding, hitting, coordination, team play, safety, and
fun!
The program is split into age groups: 3-4 year olds, 5-6 year olds, Intro-ball for 7-8 year olds and newly added 9-10 year olds. 3-4 year olds will use stationary batting tees, foam baseballs, and foam bats for a safe, yet rewarding experience. 5-8 year olds will hit against coach pitched soft baseballs with metal bats in a safe and controlled environment. 9-10 year olds will begin to pitch to their peers in combination with coach pitch.
Equipment
It is only mandatory to supply your own fielding glove and water bottle. Cleats are recommended, however not mandatory. Batting gloves are only recommended for ages 5-10, but not mandatory. Baseball pants are not mandatory. No blue jeans or open toe shoes will be allowed. We will supply each team with bats, balls, batting tees, bases, helmets, team hats, and team shirts.
