Karla Dobbeck, is a certified professional in Human Resource Management – Emeritus. In her professional life, Ms. Dobbeck served as the chairwoman of the TMA HR Peer Group, as president of Stateline SHRM and Illinois Fox Valley SHRM; and as Chairwoman of the McHenry County Workforce Development Board (MCEDC).
As a HR consultant, Ms. Dobbeck helps client companies create systematic methods for selecting, onboarding, managing and offboarding employees. Creating consistent communication ensures all employees receive the same message every time. As a trainer, Ms. Dobbeck believes that although supervisory personnel have the technical skills they need, their entire departments will benefit if they also have the 'people' training they need to successfully run their departments.
